Started in 2004 6 years later I'm still doing it!

Six years ago I had this idea to do a mosaic on canvas of the Horse of Selene. I've always loved that beautiful classical ancient Greek sculpture Lord Elgin had so unceremoniously cut from the Parthenon so long ago. The horse's head resides in the British Museum. If there was one piece of art I would love to see in the flesh so to speak this would have to be it.

I forgot it existed for some time now. I found it tucked behind another still work in progress looking at me as if to say isn't it time you cleaned me up and finished me?

I created it for me. So I had better finish it. Each piece is made of cut mirror or of beads. I've created it more by instinct than anything else and I love it.
