The Mad Bush Guide to Impractical Farming Rural Safety Rule 1 Thunderbox Safety
THUNDERBOX SAFETY RULE
THUNDERBOX SAFETY SHOULD BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES. BEFORE LEAVING YOUR THUNDERBOX PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE LET OFF A SHOT GUN INSIDE THE THUNDERBOX IN AN UPWARDS POSITION THROUGH THE ROOF. THIS WILL ENSURE THE ABOVE WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU.
ANOTHER STUPID SAFETY MESSAGE FROM THE MAD BUSH HEALTH & SAFETY AUTHORITY - RURAL DIVISION.
I'd have thought rule #1 was: don't let the furry beggers near the sledge hammer stash in the first place ...
ReplyDeleteWell the Mad Bush Authorities as you know are complete idiots. They left the sledgehammer stash lock up wide open just for those mutated hairy maruspial sods to get their grubby paws on the whole stash. Hence of course it is now mandatory to have a fully loaded shotgun inside your thunderbox.LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is "do you still have thunderboxes out there?" Can't imagine what the creature is on the top - look like a relation of the one on your header - have they got it in for you?
ReplyDeleteHa ha that's a rule worth following! That picture of Sasquatch in the post below is priceless! Clawsies are out and that look in his eyes is more of a Basement Cat minion than of an obedient Ceiling Cat follower! Hope all is going well at the farm. Take care all :)
ReplyDeleteWeaver those thunderboxes still exist. We have one here but it's not used anymore. That creature is very very worrying. Yes it is related to that other hairy creature on the blog header be it all a mutated one..Yes I think they do have it in for me. On ate my best tree last night..
ReplyDeleteOmer - I'd organise that shot gun..the full moon is nearing that Monster Marsupial could be searching for his next victim..
As for the former Celing Cat follower (for now at least) those claws are sooo unfair. You should see the other photo with All the claws out..ouchy ouchy ouchy and he got me this morning as well.LOL
All is well here on the farm even though is chaotic as usual.
Purrs & Hugs to you.
Liz
Those furred feral possum mafia types are usually loaded with a bladder full of pee when I use a thunderbox and it's usually aimed right at moi, through the holes made when someone has peppered the corrugated iron roof with their shotgun at a prior date :P
ReplyDeleteJayne I'd recommend you keep with you an umbrella at all times when entering or leaving the thunderbox..LOL! Marsupial Mafia oh that's hilarious! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLiz about that exotic meat website - dunno how could they legally do that in US. Don't know where they are getting the meat from. There perhaps are some secret lion/tiger farms in the US then I suppose since it's legal to keep exotic pets in some states. Very shocking nevertheless and hope it can be stopped soon!
ReplyDeleteOmer I read the website on the different sections they had. according to the website the animals come from so-called ranches I've contacted the WWF for their view on this and will also contact some other organisations. This calls for some serious looking into. Bad enough I had to blog about that Cat eating situation in Guongduong Province but this seriously tops my list of disgusting unethical practices. Exotic pets are legal in the US however the justification of the slaughter of critically endangered species is beyond the unethical. I am so angry about this. A civilised country encouraging the trade of endangered species? Insane.
ReplyDeleteOnce again..I'm laughing! LOL I love these posts so much! Those kitty pictures you posted last are just too good Liz! They are post-card perfect! Eating Tigers??? ewww and why? and How could someone??? *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI've tried several times to leave a comment....today blogger has been kind to me! Hope all is well with you and the girls, and mom!
Love ya!
Hey there Rae.LOL! I should do a kentucky style possum just for you gal. On the tigers the practice o eating them at all is digusting. Worse when some sod decides to blantantly break international law and openly advertise tiger and lion meat for sale..growl.. I've contacted Yahoo and reported the sod. Patrica as well has got onto it. Watch out for those possums..LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove ya heaps and big hugs
