Christmas in a pink caravan

I can barely remember my parent's pink caravan that used to be on site at the Red Beach camping ground during the 1960's. But what I do remember is that it was pink and had a wonderful lead glassed cabinet inside it. I also remember my Dad (who sadly passed away in 1997) shining a torch out into the bush because my older sisters were scared of the possums. So here's my version of the pink caravan and all those possums at Christmas time waiting to be invited to the Christmas dinner. No thank you.

  3. Love the pink caravan! When we changed our car recently pink was one of the choices we had - I was so e nthusiastic about pink but I caught my husbands eye and reailsed that no self-respecting North Yorkshire farmer would be seen riding around in pink! Love the possum eyes (have never seen a possum!)

  4. Hi Pat. I'll have to post a possum up just for you. No can't see the Farmer riding around in a pink vehicle or a tractor. My 4WD is blue and so is my little car..with dust and mud on them as well. Rural areas as you know don't make for lovely shiny vehicles. Having trouble with the comments on most of the blogs I visit. A real pain because I love yours and want to tell you that. Never mind I'll just keep persisting.

  13. Hi Liz, there should be more pink caravans around, all we seem to get here are boring old white ones! Bob.

  14. Well Bob what you could do is start a National Campaign demanding the caravan makers colour their caravans pink and maybe lilac as well. But we'll have to export all those possums to match the scenery. Great to hear from you.

    All the best
    Liz
